This week we’ll chat with Stephanie about her work on the Phresh Fall Photoshoot. Stephanie has been a stylist since 2013 and specializes in styling, especially braiding and updo’s, textured hair, fading and men’s cuts, and special occasion makeup.
Stephanie, tell us about how you styled your model, Ashley, for the shoot?
Ashley has beautiful virgin hair that looks exactly like a subtle blonde balayage, so there was no need to change her color. I styled her hair with a 1.25″ curling iron with gives medium, loose curls. I prepped her hair with Oribe Soft Lacquer heat styling spray and then I curled her hair in vertical rows, set in opposite directions. I finished with Oribe Superfine Hairspray.
What about her makeup? What products did you use and what was your inspiration?
I wanted a subtle smoky eye so I used the Jane Iredale “Blue Hour” eyeshadow under her bottom lash line, and then “Smoky Grey” eyeshadow just in the crease. I used the Jane Iredale Puremoist lipstick in “Hannah”, a matte brown red, which looked amazing with her skin tone and golden hair color.
We want to give a special thanks to our collaborators for this photoshoot, Geneoh Photography and Primp Boutique.
